The following minimum system requirements must be met:

a) PowerDesigner

• Sybase PowerDesigner 15.3 EBF 7 or newer

b) Windows

• Operating Systems:

  • Microsoft Windows7 (recommended), or

  • Windows XP SP3 (recommended), or

  • Windows XP SP2, or

  • Windows Server 2003

• Scripting Engine:

  • PowerShell (recommended), or

  • Windows Script 5.8 (recommended) or 5.7:

• minimum 1GB RAM, 2GB recommended

• 250 MB free disk space

c) MXV Example

• 50 MB free disk space on C drive

• Install PowerDesigner 15.3 EBF 7 or newer
• Verify /  upgrade the Windows PowerShell or Script version (see above) 
• Unzip the downloaded file 'MXV NDR 2.1 Example.zip' to your C-drive root folder, and retain all folder names
  (It is not recommended to unzip to a storage location other than c:\ , unless you are familiar with re-directing all PowerDesigner absolute path names.)

• Start Windows Explorer
• Navigate to folder 'C:\MXV NDR 2.1 Example'
• Doubleclick 'Shortcut to MXV NDR 2. 1 Example Workspace.sws' to open the MXV PowerDesigner Workspace
• Follow the MXV Demo Video to see a practical example of a change iteration
• Apply your own fictitious change iterations
